1.         Parts Pricing and Orders

We shall release BRP Parts Pricelists and email them to our Authorized Dealers periodically. This pricelist is a guideline only, we reserve the right to change pricing as necessary. Please check the latest pricing on our online parts price and availability list.

Please note FC Brands will only sell OEM package quantities.

This will affect mostly spark plugs, bolts, nuts and washers, gaskets, o-rings, lubricants and other small or fast moving items. The new pricelist indicates the individual quantities per package.

The new prices are valid for the complete package – and not for individual items.

Dealers shall only order parts via online order or email by part number.

In case the part number and description doesn’t match for the part ordered - FC Brands will supply the part as per the part number ordered.

Telephonic orders and orders without correct BRP part number cannot be processed at dealer margin. These orders shall be processed only at the recommended retail price.

Please be aware of the minimum order quantities. FC Brands will supply parts as per the minimum qty listed on the pricelist. If you wish to buy less than the min wholesale qty you may need to purchase through another Authorized Dealer that may have that item in stock and who may be prepared to break up the packed quantity.                                            

Some Can-Am and Sea-Doo part superseded to multiple parts or component parts. These are indicated at our pricelist under the part description starting with “ UCP” – Use Component Parts. If you are not 100% sure what to order please confirm it with our parts sales team.

 

2.         Factory backorder feedback

FC Brands will provide feedback on the backorder (BO) status by mail within 24 hours after the order placed at the factor by FC Brands. If the parts are available we will not send an email to the Dealer.

In the event of a Factory backorder we require the dealer to confirm within 7 days if any cancellation is needed. Otherwise we will assume that you will accept the ordered part even if the waiting period is significant (sometimes this may be a month or longer).

Please note we will automatically invoice the backorder parts as they arrive.

Backordered parts cannot be credited except if it is a stocking item for FC Brands.

 

3.         Parts order types

Regular stock order:  

A dealer can order stock at any time.

Please ask if any stocking discounts are applicable on large orders.

Delivery charges for stock orders shall be paid by FC Brands. Minimum values might apply.

We dispatch the regular orders within 48 hours after the order received.

Emergency orders:

Delivery charges will apply on overnight deliveries or if the order value is below R 1 000.00 or if the size of the part is very large.  (Such as fenders, tyres, storage boxes, bumpers, cowlings, etc.) These items shall incur high delivery charge.

We shall dispatch the SOS orders the same day if the order is received before 1.00pm otherwise it shall be dispatched the next day.  SOS order should be a maximum of 10 line items.

Collection at our warehouse is allowed but the dealer must make an appointment with the warehouse prior to collection. (Contact: Sipho  011 462 4390)  

 

4.         Payments:

Approved BRP Parts Dealers’ payment term are as agreed in the Dealer Agreement.

We don’t require deposit for factory backorders but the dealer is obliged to take the ordered part if the order wasn’t cancelled (and this cancellation was confirmed in writing) in time.

For COD Dealers and specific items we may require 75% deposit before we will place the factory backorder.

Please note if your account is in arrears we cannot place factory backorder for you.

COD customers who ordered parts need to pay for the available items within 3 working days after they receive notification (Invoice, Quotation, Sales Order, etc.) from FC Brands.

In the case where the parts were factory backordered and the part has arrived, the COD order cannot be cancelled or the payment refuted.

 

5.         Delivery and Return

The deliveries can be tracked on the provided online tracking system. Please visit www.dcs1.co.za  website, use your FC Brands invoice number as tracking number.

If a part needs to be returned because of FC Brands or BRP’s error (for example: incorrect delivery, incorrect part in the package, incorrect qty, etc.) the part can be returned on FC Brands’ expense.

Please note any shipping damage must be noted on the waybill. FC Brands need to receive a copy of this waybill via email from the dealer. This must be accompanied with photos so we can submit a claim to the courier.

If the dealer wishes to return a stock items, this shall attract a 15% handling fee plus the delivery charges.

Please note factory backorder parts, electronic items, clothing or any parts without original packaging or in damaged packaging cannot be returned. Any return request other than warranty must be addressed no later than 7 days after receiving the parts otherwise FC Brands may refuse the return request.

Part return request or any enquiry has to be sent to your Parts Sales Representative via email. After the return has been approved you will receive a return approval number from FC Brands via email. Please use this number as reference for the return on the credit request, delivery note, etc.

DO NOT SEND BACK ANY PARTS WITHOUT FC BRANDS APPROVAL NUMBER.
